Health and Wellness Center

Wellness Programs

Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community offers a comprehensive array of wellness services to help residents stay active and fully enjoy their retirement years. Exercise classes, a fitness room and health-education programs are designed to promote and sustain physical and emotional wellness.

Onsite Continuum of Care

When health conditions change, residents move between independent living apartments and cottages, assisted living accommodations and 24-hour nursing care to receive the attention they require.

This allows residents to stay in familiar surroundings close to friends, loved ones and the same attentive staff. In addition, physical therapy and other health support services are available. And, residents only pay for additional health care services when they are needed.

Assisted Living

Assisted living residences are available for those who need a little extra help with the activities of daily living, personal care and medication monitoring. Three meals are served daily and there is a full program of recreational, cultural, social and spiritual programming. Each resident plans his or her day, setting the pace and choosing activities, which can range from group exercise to playing a game of cards with friends.

Licensed Nursing Center

The Community’s onsite nursing center offers 24-hour care and services provided by licensed medical personnel. In many cases, nursing care may only be required for a brief period of time, such as after a hospital stay, to enable residents to fully recuperate and return to their apartment or cottage. For those with chronic or progressive health conditions, the nursing center provides long-term, around-the-clock care in an atmosphere designed to preserve the dignity and comfort of each resident.

New residents with an immediate need for additional levels of care are welcome to move directly to the Community’s assisted living or nursing care center.
