The Chesapeake Golf Tournament

The Chesapeake

Join us for fellowship and fun as we raise funds to support The Chesapeake Endowed Fund for Benevolence. The 2012 benefit tournament will take place on May 17, 2012 at Kiln Creek Golf Club in Newport News. Resident volunteers work hard during the year to secure raffle prizes. They also man “the gauntlet” during registration to encourage golfers to take advantage of Mulligans and Putt-Saving String and, of course, to buy tickets to the raffle, which offer more than 50 great prizes from local Tidewater area merchants and restaurants. Greens and cart fees, lunch, plus a spectacular dinner at The Chesapeake are provided and cash prizes are awarded to winners.

The Endowed Fund for Benevolence at each of our four communities provides support to residents who, through no fault of their own, outlive their financial resources to pay for the cost of their life care. Every year, Virginia Baptist Homes provides almost $1,000,000 in benevolent assistance.

Save the Date: May 17, 2012 at Kiln Creek Golf Club

Register online or contact Matt Rose at (804) 521-9212 or mrose@vbh.org for more information.
