The Chesapeake opened its doors more than 40 years ago, responding to the need in the Newport News/Hampton Roads area to provide seniors with a quality, compassionate place to call home.

This friendly community is designed to meet the lifestyle expectations of today's retirees. Featuring spacious, maintenance-free apartments and cottage homes, The Chesapeake offers extensive amenities, services, and planned activities that promote wellness and active living.
