VBH Senior Management

 

 


 

 

President and CEO: Dr. Randall Robinson

 

Dr. Robinson assumed the position of President on July 1, 1993. In this position, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Virginia Baptist Homes and its subsidiaries.

 

Prior to his employment with Virginia Baptist Homes, Dr. Robinson served as senior minister of churches in Raleigh, North Carolina and Arlington, Virginia. His early employment also included draftsman for an engineering firm and an architectural firm.

 

Dr. Robinson has held responsibilities in local and state denominational work. His involvement on the state level has included chairman of major committees as well as First Vice President of the Baptist General Association of Virginia and the Board of Trustees for Virginia Baptist Homes from 1987-1990 during which time he held the office of Vice Chairman of the Board.

 

Dr. Robinson is a graduate of the University of South Florida. He also received the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern Seminary, Wake Forest, North Carolina.

 

Dr. Robinson is a member of the Virginia Association of Nonprofit Homes for the Aging and the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging where he currently serves on the Leadership Circle.

 

 

 

Senior Vice President for Finance/CFO/Treasurer: Kent M. Phillips

 

Mr. Phillips began his responsibilities on August 6, 2010. Mr. Phillips has been involved with senior living organizations since 1988 and he has an appreciation for mission based organizations and the Christian values of VBH. He previously served as Vice President for Finance with Pacific Retirement Services, Inc. (PRS).

 

Prior to this position with PRS, he spent approximately ten years with CRSA, working for the company on two separate occasions. The experience he brings to the position of CFO includes debt capacity studies, budget projections, outcomes reporting and benchmarking, multi-facility operations, and long range financial forecasting.

 

Mr. Phillips is an honors graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder. He also received an MBA in Finance and Change Management from the University of Texas at Dallas with honors.

 

 

Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations: Peter Robinson

 

Mr. Robinson joined Virginia Baptist Homes in January of 2009. Before coming to Virginia Baptist Homes he worked with Sunrise Senior Living where he worked in a variety of roles including regional manager for an Assisted Living portfolio, managing a portfolio of six Continuing Care Retirement Communities and directing the marketing and sales for a new development. Prior to working for Sunrise Senior Living, Mr. Robinson worked for Sunnyside Retirement Community in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

 

Mr. Robinson is a graduate of James Madison University with a B.A. in History and also is a graduate of George Mason University with a M.S. in Health Systems Management.
